Just a mad thought really.

Anybody know if I can capture an AVI of Saturn using K3CCD for both capture and guiding via a single webcam? It would make things a lot easier I think.

No you can't. You can open up two instances of K3CCD and use two different cameras though.

Yes you can. I think. Tried it in a single "instance" of k3CCD.

Had a play this evening pointing the ED80 at Venus. Set it guiding and capturing an AVI. Deliberately messed up the "guiding" using the handpad and it brought it back into position. It saved the AVI during the guiding. This needs more playing but so far I'm convinced that K3CCD will image and guide on something at the same time, using a single Toucam. How cool is that?

I will try to do an AVI where I deliberately move the target out of position and let it bring it back into alignment once these clouds have left.
