grin.gifHi Folks, after some more consultations with various folk, I went down the road of an adapter fitted to my existing finder to attach my QHY5 - See link.

I never knew they existed, (thanks to Pete) a saving of around £50 on the Orion mini guider. One disadvantage is I no longer have a finderscope (well maybe an electronic one) but plan on getting a red dot or telrad as a replacement possibly. Anyhoo here are a couple of pics to show the result. All I need now is a clear night to test the setup. Here's hoping the drop in weight fom my previous setup will do the trick.

I have heard various folk mentioning the flexure word with this setup - I've been assured it shouldn't be an issue, fingers crossed

DAVID
