So for the QHY8L's 3rd light, I wanted to see how sensitive it is to Ha and to see if my guiding was good enough to go for 10min subs.

I was planning on getting a couple of hours on this tonight, but only managed to get 3 dodgy 10min subs before I was totally clouded out.

So I've had a very quick play to see what I got.

Have to say I'm impressed. I didn't think I'd have got as much red as this, and I love the colour of the stars - I haven't done anything to them. All I've done was a bit of stretching and some minor noise reduction.

Can't wait to get some decent data on this!

Wish my guiding was that good! For a "test" image, this is a bit mesmerising, and it's definitely one of those images that really works with spikey stars.

So last night I managed to get set up almost the same as before and added a load more subs to the three from saturday night. Had to crop a few pixels off the edges but but for my flirst mulit-session I can't complain!

This is now 16 x 10min + 1 x 15min for good luck

Also think I've solved my flat problem - I think I was seriously underexposing them.
