Stars in the Milky Way (WARNING - LARGE IMAGE)

I've been trying to do a massive stitched picture of the Cygnus, Lyra and Aquila regions of the sky using my compact camera, DSS and GIMP, with ICE for stitching. Here's the picture so far. My garden is fairly light polluted so the most I could get of the Milky Way was a barely visible haze, so to reduce overall noise I got rid of it It will have to wait until I find a dark sky site.
