Quick question about collimation.

Recommended Posts

hey, just been looking at my scope skywatcher 150p dobsonian. and then looking at astrobabys guide to collimation, just a quick question on their collimation when they align the mirrors through the cheshire. As i havent got a cheshire yet but soon, just wondering when they look down the mirrors at the offset of the mirrors there are two spots one which looks like mine on the primary mirror and then another like a solid black circle on the mirror mine doesnt have this. is this part of the cheshire collimator showing the circle or something else? thanks :BangHead:
