Anyone in Martins Heron ??

Hi all just wondering if there are any members living in martins heron near Bracknell. I'm going to be moving there in the next month or so and was wondering what it's like for observing

I work nearby in Reading and often drive past Martins Heron, I imagine a fair bit of light polution from Bracknell however I think to the east of Martins heron is woodland so maybe okay in that direction?

Looking on google maps there is Lilly hill park north and what appears to be woodland to the east

Living in basinstoke at the moment so LP is probably going to be similar

Yes I'm in Martin's Heron! Next to the wooded bit. I've live here for about 10 years or so.

Short answer is ensure you have a LP filter and you'll be fine. The majority of lighting is sodium based. There's a Reading AS and a Maidenhead AS. I worked in Basinggrad for a year and a half - I'd say it's probably similar.

My place is a just a small place without a back garden, so I pull out the gear to where my car is parked.
