hidden dimensions

An excellent read is Hyperspace (among other books), by Michio Kaku. It is over 15 years old and may have some outdated theories, but ties multiple dimensions, worm holes, quantum mechanics and superstring theory into an enjoyable read.

Nice one Olly.

I can also recommend Flatland. If you have trouble getting your head around multi-dimensional space, then reading this may help. Book is written in a world of two spatial dimensions rather than three. Its an enjoyable read and a real help.

Cheers

Ian

Thanks for the info guys I've checked out flatland and its on amazon for a penny sounds like it'll be worth shelling out for :) I must admit it is difficult getting my head around the tightly curled up and infinitely shaped spacial dimensions I thought brian greene done a good job using the hosepipe world comparison, I mean 11 dimensions...who wouldn't have a hard time comprehending that after all we are only used to up-down,left-right,back-forth what I truly find bamboozling is the prospect of another time dimension...
