Dovetail Bar

Can anyone confirm that the skywatcher dovetail bars will fit the Nexstar SLT Goto Mount? I have just got a ST-80 for some widefield and was hoping to mount it on the SLT mount.

Afaik the ST80 does not come with a dovetail anymore

When you buy the "OTA" it comes with the rings it and that sily little moulded plastic tripod adaptor... Just tried it in the Supatrak mount and it looks like it could be modded to fit Either file a groove into it or add a strip to the bottom edge on one side to get it to grip in the dovetail...

If you have the scope mounted on a Skywatcher Dovetail bar it will fit... and it looks like you maybe in the market for some in the For sale section

Thanks for the advice, indeed I managed to pick up a dovetail bar in the sale section albiet a big one so might need to get the hacksaw out!
