Keeping track of filter wheel positions

Now that I have got hold of some RGB filters I intend to put these in my 5 position filter wheel along with a CLS and an Ha so that I get the alignment at least close. I don't want to get them out of order as that would mess everything up so the question is how do you keep tabs on them? The "new" 4 position filter wheel that the RGB filters came in has notches in the edge, so no notches is L, 1 notch is R etc.

I can put some notches in easy enough, or put blobs of tippex on so that I can see them in the dim glow of the computer. Either way I'm going to end up with some reflective surfaces near the filters (or I paint the notches black).

Any tips chaps?

Maybe something dark and tactile would do the job? Different raised shapes or number of 'bumps' Superglued on?
