Should I use barlows more often?

Using a Skywatcher 150pl (1200mm focal length: f8), which would be better for visual?

10mm EP = 120x

20mm EP c/w 2x barlow = 120x

32mm EP c/w 3x barlow = 112x

All similar magnifications (I think).

I will be getting a 3x barlow for imaging, so just wondered if viewing would be improved by using the barlow more often.

Unless it is a really good quality barlow, the views through an eyepiece alone would be better I reckon.
