Camera for PST?

Hi,

I have two questions.

1. In order to get detailed solar images I will need a PST as Baader Filter on my SCT won't get me these images.

Is this correct?

When I say detailed I mean proms.

2. Assuming I am correct I have been looking at this pst

Although I notice TH have it available with a tripod and their current 10% offer makes it very attractive.

I do not have funds right now but am very very tempted but wondered which of my current cameras would be 'compatable' with out additional 'fixings'?

a. SPC - I asusme this is ok

b. DSI II - probably ok too

c. QHY8 Pro - probably not with out some kind of adaptor.

The "best" camera to use on a PST (or any other Ha solar scope) is probably the webcam/ DMK - it allows you to find those fleeting moments of good seeing.

Thanks Merlin, thats great info. will need to save up now both the £'s and the brownie points. Birthday at the end of the month but don't think i'll be lucky :-(
