Hi SGL , The astro society for the area had its 5th meeting yesterday, I wanted to say thanks to all who came along,

Steve and the other Steve, Terry, Gordon, Nigal, Alf, Paul and Damian.

Great you guys could make it, not our best night for observing with such bright skies but a brilliant find Paul!, to be able to pick out M57 in such poor conditions was some going, Skywatcher Explorer 150P and 13 and 8mm BST ep's, shows whats possible under such lightish skies. Good to see your Orion Optics UK Newt Damian, beautiful telescope. Hope your 150P shows you some fantastic sights Gordon!

Shame the cloud spoilt our chance to see Mercury Alf, would have liked to have seen it again.
