Fuji S3 IR Filter Removal

I don't know if it will be of any use to anyone else (as most people seem to use Canons!) but I stumbled across a guide to removing the IR filter on a Fuji S3 which was really easy to follow. The S3 and S5 are based on the Nikon N80 I believe.

Here's a couple of scary photos from mid process, I've opted to remove the filter and not replace it with anything. Requires a Philips P000 screwdriver.

Not as yet, I've had pretty much total cover for the past three weeks - not even been able to field test my new Hyperions

I'm hoping for some clear skies this weekend, tonight is looking promising post 23:00
