No more Shake while focusing

Recommended Posts

Just spent the last couple of cloudy rainy days making a servo focus contraption for my scope and pleased to say it works. No more telescope shake while out on cold nights trying to focus.

Really cheap at around £10 and well worth it.;)

You have two servos which you modify by taking out the elctronics and leave the motor installed. (See in a search BATTERY FREE ELECTRIC FOCUSER). As can be seen when mounted on the scope you use a couple of elastic bands between one servo and the focusing knob. The other servo you turn by hand and this causes the scope mounted servo to turn and the focus knob rotates.
