Right, I'm sure it's the window that hinders my efforts at a decent Venus capture because I tested it with Jupiter (which I know I usually get better results with).

Looks like I might need to do attempt it in daytime. I still don't have a GOTO mount at hand yet so I guess I'll be relying on Stellarium to follow it...

Well at least it isn't a rainbow blob this time!
