Ultra Slim Canon T adapter

I've spotted an ultra slim T adapter at modernastronomy

Accessories @ Modern Astronomy.. third item from bottom. (apols to FLO, if they stocked it I'd link to theirs)

Has anyone used one?.. is it rugged enough or is it made from super soft ally?

Solid item, well made and ultra low profile, so low infact, it comes with a special tool for extraction from the camera!

I've got one too and it does what it says on the tin.

Got mine from modern astronomy as well.

Well it arrived yesterday and I tried it last night when I got in, just a pic of the neigbours TV antenna... too cloudy for anything else.

Holds the camera perfectly, zero slack and the optical thickness really is maybe a smidge under 1mm. As a magnet will stick to it I'm assuming its made from steel. Nice little extraction tool too.

So far, I'd reccomend it.

I'm hoping mine will arrive this week.

I think it could be very useful and solve (may be) some of those back focus problems we hear about when mounting a DSLR on some reflectors.....
