Which sct focuser for a c11?

Hi,

I need a solid focuser to attach to the c11 which i then aim to attach a stepper to. Any suggestions? I dont want to spend lots on this if possible. Any suggestions welcome!

Neil,

I had a Revelation SCT Crayford on my C8 which I managed to attach a Skywatcher focus motor to. This combination worked quite well.

The Crayford was quite heavy so with that, the focus motor, camera, focal reducer etc. attached it made the whole thing quite back heavy so balancing was a bit of an issue.

Nice fine control though.

Is this for imaging? The advantage of the expensive Moonlite is that it preserves the chip distance when using a flattener because the latter fits inside the moving part of the focuser.

I have a Revelation which is good value, but I haven't motorized it.

Yes Olly it´s for imaging...I was trying to spend a maximum of 200 euros but obviously need something that is robust with a 2 speed. I was thinking of
