Astronomy have i got it wrong ?

If there is a Go-To tool to help amateurs find stuff they want to see, then use it.

There exists a machine that helps me make better dovetails in my woodwork, so I use it. That doesn't mean I can't use the old-fashioned ways if I wish to.

So if using digital gizmos in Astronomy engenders an interest in the old methods then it's a win/win situation. it also saves time, and at my time of life, I can do with every spare moment I can get!
