c11 !!!

ive just seen on the rother valley site, they are selling c11 ota for £1500, but what i cant understand is this, THE SAME OPTICS AS USED ON THE CELESTRON 11"SCT PACKAGES, ive also seen a 9.25 ota for sale, and it says this is a genuine celestron ota made in the usa, does this mean their are celestron 11" and 9.25" ota out their of different qaulity, thats what it looks like to me, any thoughts,

I see what you are saying, but I think it is just an attempt to preempt purchasers who may think that they are going to get something different (lower quality) if they do not take the whole package (with mount & tripod).

Most of the Celestron SCTs are made in China in the Synta factories. The USA factories are supposed to make EdgeHD and C14 scopes. There is rather no difference between USA and China
