It screws onto the visual back,you get rough focus with the normal focusser and then fine focus with the moonlite.As you are not adjusting the mirror hence no mirror shift.

Or were you commenting on the bit Rob was on about ??

I meant the one Rob posted the link to. That just replaces the focus knob I think?

The one Rob was on about does replace the standard knob so mirror shift/flop will still be there

I've just put a WO Crayford on my SCT and I'm waiting for an adaptor for my Mak, I havn't had chance to use it yet but it's got to be at least some improvement over the standard focuser. I on'y wish I could justify a Moonlite to myself (and my bank manager!)

Hopefully its winging its way from Steve at FLO and should be with me early next week (i think Steve only got it this morning !!!) and as soon as i get all the drool off it and get it on the scope i will post a review.
