Process or not?

Made a mosaic the other night and had a play around in gimp - it's very easy to go over the top with all those options and still not sure if it improves or distracts - what do you think.

First image just stacked with no enhancements except wavelet filters.

The second after a bit of "gimping"

The third I think is over the top

Any thoughts?

Of the 3 pics I have to say I prefer the first, which is a great shot, by the way. Second image is OK but looks to have a slight blue colour cast. 3rd, as you say, looks over processed.

Great 1st image though, which I'd be very pleased with.
