Anyone do imaging with an 8" Dob?

I want to get one of these and then something like as EQ6 mount for it but wonderinf if anyone does do AP with this scope?

The reason I am going down this line is I can get the scope first and then I need time to save for the mount so with a Dob I can carry on happy observing.

Dob will be fine for observing and moon/planetary photagraphy (asuming you can keep planet in view manually while recording videos), but i think that's about it. for most otehr things you need longer exposures and you'll need tracking.

EQ6 will do a very good job here. :D
