M101 last night Meade 8"LX

I took this last night,

Meade 8" LX on EQ6 pro @ f6.3, guided with 50mm finder and phd.

10 min subs at ISO800 Total 1hr 30 min.

This object is a real pain to image such a low surface brightness,

which means I have to stretch it a lot which messes up the background.

So I will need to keep adding data to this one.

Wow, the Ha is so prominent!

It seems that you have some decent data in there... Remember to anchor your black point to the background as soon as it reaches a level you want to keep it at.

Yes but its there and you have tracked it very well so now you just need more data.... which means a lot more time... Good luck with this one as it is difficult.
