Problems installing Astroplanner from S@N mag....

Anyone else having trouble, its says the folder is read only when I try to install, I've unchecked the 'read only' box in properties but it won't give me access to apply the change?

Everything on a cd is readonly mate, you won't be able to change it because you can't write to the cd to save the change.

Try copy and pasting the installation folder to your computer and then run it.. might work

Cheers Grant thats done the trick. What I thought was the setup file was the actual program,as soon as I copied it across it worked a treat.

I shoulda sussed the CD 'read only' thing, I had a real 'Doh!' moment when I read your post!!!
