This is 6 hours worth of 10 minute subs from my unmodified Canon 1000D on my ED80. SW 2" LP filter. Captured using APT over 3 nights. Guided on HEQ5 with PHD, SPC900 and Finderguider.

20 flats (each night), 15 darks (in the fridge) and 40 bias.

Stacked in DSS, processed in CS3 with Noel's Actions.

Nice one Glider - that's a lot of data you've captured! The background seems a bit bright on my screen, if you improved the contrast here the galaxies might stand out a bit better.
