buying advice

I`m currentely saving the beer money,and working a bit harder and looking to buy a new scope in a couple of months around £600 to spend, been looking at the lightbridge 12", any recommendations on this or any other scopes at the same price range( don`t really need goto etc, but if a nice scope would consider) iantotobach :occasion4:

I think for the £600 ish price range your best bet is the 12" lightbridge. If you look at GEM mounts your whole budget will be swallowed by the mount.

The 12" is a great scope with nice optics, although the base isn't the most stable at high powers. You will also want to consider installing Bob's knobs and purchasing some sort of collimation aid.

I know GOTO is a nice feature but I'd take aperture over electronics any day of the week.
