....for light pollution to actually get worse as we head into the summer months ????

I cant believe that South Ribble Borough Council have turned up the juice or put up more manky orange lights (that would cost money, councils done spend money) but i am seeing less and less of the night sky as we progress into the summer nights, last night was a complete orange out even right above my head the effect was still blocking out anything worth looking at . Each picture looked like it was taken from inside the worlds biggest Jaffa Cake.

Action is required either the lights go or I do i have not decided yet

Might there have been any moisture high in the air? This can seriously increase the 'orange glow' effect, but may not be immediately obvious as the cause.
