M109

Hi all,

M109 - This SB Galaxy close to bright gamma- UMa "Phekda" I have taken with my TOA130S & Flattener f=1000mm and QHY8 & IDAS LPS-Filter.

Total exposure was 128min (4x180s + 14x360s + 4x480s).

My idea was to keep Phekda out of the field, but it didn´t work properly...anyway, I like the reflections of this +2.4m star...it makes the image somewhat more interesting

There are a few tiny galaxies around and the tiniest Galaxy just visible is 17.2m.

I have added a second picture with some text included, to show them up.

Frankly it's very good indeed concidering the size of the scope, and that you're using a colour camera. M109 is not the brightest of objects.
