I've had my 150pl for 3 months now and i'm finding that it's getting dust on the primary mirror, even tho i store it with the end cap on.I think it's dust from the air in my area as i live 2 miles from a china clay works so when it's dry there's dust floating about. if i blow air across the mirror will it be safe or will it damage it? It needs cleaning at some point but i don't know how to do it. Any advice would be very helpful.

cheers.

Whatever you do, don't blow it. Your breath contains moisture, and this will damage the mirror.

Generally, trying to clean a mirror does more harm than good, so normally I would advise you to leave it well alone.

Visual performance is only affected if approximately 15% of the mirror is covered in dust, which is quite a large amount.
