Hi all,
See below PRO research study for academia with single tube multi-application telescope solution (including spectroscopy), only with Rotarion.
In regards to the top image in this page, that is a light and portable telescope solution, and yes, TeleVue TV-85 focuser holds the weight.
In both examples, single multi-application telescopes reduces weight (no need of heavier mount), gear (second or third OTA plus focusers, etc..), and therefore saves money compared to multi-tube telescopes.
And even better, no differential flexure problems typical of multi-tube scopes.
FYI soon available in First Light Optics UK.
Cheers,
A.
