yes its a synscan unit the i have not bough a controller as yet going to get a gt1 the hand set says it ver1.7 wanted make sure it worked before investing in the controller the firmware also on switch on says 3.09 thanks

Hi now found this GoTo mount controller GT1 - SynScan compatible witch will work with a goto skywatcher controler bit more money what would you think I'm new to all this and want to make it essay looking at stars thanks

Hi thanks for reply could you help symbols on new type hand set i under stand n and s and speed but there's anther button with symbol s like a moon and star I've been looking and cant find anything about remote i have also fond a astro eq unit witch will control motors of pc thanks graham

Hi yes new type remote two sockets go into it there is controller and Stefan unit but loos like it a go socket do you get an adapter to connect them up thanks Graham
