    NEQ6 Counterweight upgrade

Yes it was a good upgrade for me it is a nice solid item and no movement of the weights now, very easy to fit just remember you need a bigger centre hole in the weights
  4. Lovely image nice detail thanks for sharing it
  5. It depends on what you want to image I suppose I wouldn't call it an upgrade as such as I just like refractors they are more compact and easier for me to deal with more plug and play if you like the 200p is faster of course at f5 the Esprit is f7 hope this is of some help to you
  6. I use the Esprit 120 on an NEQ6 pro with guide scope, camera and filter wheel all performs well for me

  14. I do more or less the same with my refractor leave the lens cover of until dry I also have a desiccant cap which fits in eyepiece socket if your worried about damp inside the scope David
  15. Not sure if this has been posted before but have just fitted the Orion counterweight bar upgrade pic below it is a 25mm shaft that screws into the collar rather than sliding in and out like the standard bar you do need to drill out your existing weights or you can buy weights already with correct size hole I believe the latest AZ-EQ6 use them this is a nice solid item and because it screws directly to the collar you do not get the weights flopping down when the mount rotates link to site http://uk.telescope.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=109968 Was ordered Monday turned up today Wednesday total cost inc shipping £71.88
