Thanks Stu, that’s great. Fortunate again last night with clear skies & Venus was bright as ever. 👍 Also managed to see a range of other stars which provided bearings like Arcturus.

Thankyou all for the Welcome, much appreciated. 👍 First time out with my new scope (Evostar 90) last night and was very fortunate to have great visuals/detail of the full moon. I did spot something else (opposition the direction of the moon was a bright star which had an object moving across it to create an eclipse - I saw a diminishing crescent) which is puzzling me so am going to investigate.
