  1. Cheers Sub Dwarf will try this out as well. Do you do your first initial alignment in Synscan app - minimise and then open up everything required and tie them together with the Ascom? Or just open Synscan and connect mount. Is CduC better than Stellarium for seeing where your going and seeing if everything is OK. i use Stellarium so I can see where the camera is positioned angled for my imaging. Is this available in CduC? Judy starting out so any info workflow appreciated.
  2. Star Forming Alexander many thanks for helping to make this happen, just downloaded 19.2 and sure enough it is now in 2 lines and the coordinates can clearly be seen. Cheers mate.
  3. Thanks for the info. I reset everything, put the slew positions to 0-90 deg . Ran Ascom in Poth mode connected to Synscan mobile and it worked. thanks again to everyone.
  4. What am I doing wrong in APT when trying to connect the Synscan wifi mount. it will not connect and shows this view stating that "it is not possible to control the side of the pier" it doesn't seem to connect to the mount and there is no noise from the mount and the Goto doesn't work. Yet the Connect scope icon message changes to disconnect the mount ? Help.
  5. Yes it is and seems to work fine. I get over it by using the Magnifier in the tools list. however is anybody else using the Rebel T3, 1100d camera and does it work for them? do I have to do something in the menu?
  6. Thanks for your replies. I,ve found a way of doing it. when your in this screen if you hold down Ctrl and zoom in using the far right of screen pg up pg down 9 and 3 on the key pad you can zoom in out and then it appears. It does not work if you use Ctrl page up and down with the up and down arrow keys as it will not zoom at all with these keys. however if Star Forming Alexander says there is a fix in next download issue then that would be great. thanks again.
  7. The screen shot is only a sample to show the issue. I really want to pick a point between the 2 DSO,s in Leo so that I can get them in the same frame of my Camera image . If I know coordinates then I can aim for that in APT by putting it in my todo list before I,m imaging so it's just a 2 click process rather than mucking about in the early hrs of imaging platesolving ,Goto++ etc.
  8. Thanks for coming to help me. Here is the problem shown in the photo, as you can see you cannot read the coordinates. Therefor I cannot put them into plate solve to centre the image I want. I wish to put the coordinates into the Goto list at the correct position I want to image. how do I get the red coordinates in Stellarium to expand so I can see them? i assume there is a setting somewhere .
  9. When in APT I cannot get the zoom to work on an image. I've looked to turn off facial recognition as I've seen that this can solve the problem. I cannot see facial recognition in my camera menu? Any suggestions on how I can get the zoom function to work. Thanks.
  10. When opening the image tool in Stellarium showing the view through my Rebel Camera the Longtitude shows OK but the latitude is a mess it seems to show the latitude twice one on top of the other so I cannot input these into APT todo list. How can I put this right.?
