RE : Project: GoTo Dob / Resurrecting a dead Nexstar GT Read Parts 1-4 with interest. Wondering did you ever get the encoders hooked up? ASCOM stuff done so you could use scope as a clone of Nexstar? Asking as bought ETX-70 off ebay and wanted to upgrade the mount with better motors ,build quality and maybe even add 2nd set of encoders to allow hand movement of scope without loosing tracking/alignment. Thanks in advance!
