I'm proposing to control my DIY Onstep GOTO via wifi from a phone or tablet using Sky Safari.
What is the smallest screen size that you would recommend? 4", 5", 6" ?
Or should I go for a larger Tablet & lose the "pocketability" of a phone.
And since I'm a cheapskate, does SF pro have any scope control advantages over SF plus? (The bigger database is no use to me - light pollution)
Thanks.

Brilliant job Criske.
I was lucky enough to visit the Johnson Space Center in Houston in the 80's.
They had a Saturn V laid out horizontally with the stages seperated so you could see the internal workings. (Maybe they still do)
Having been a kid in the Mercury/Gemini/Apollo era I thought I knew everything about the Saturn V but nothing prepares you for how ENORMOUS it actually is.

I suppose it must be an Apollo rocket nozzle, but which one?
I guess that it is an Attitude Thruster nozzle from the Apollo 11 Lunar Lander that Buzz Aldrin brought back as a souvenir without telling anyone. ?

Hi and welcome to SGL.
This thread seems quite relevant.

Best phone/tablet screen size for Sky Safari?

So it looks like 6" to 8" is the optimum screen size. I think a 7" tablet will probably be cheaper than a big phone.
Thanks for the good advice guys.
