  1. hello everyone

im currently using canon 650D on the esprit 120 and i thinking to move on to the next level. at the beginning i wanted the canon 6D but after reading a little bit i realized that cooled dedicated astronomy camera will be better (color camera not mono. i want to start at first in color camera). so i have couple of question:

    1) which camera should i buy? (or to stay with the canon 6D or even other DSLR camera?) from my understanding the ZWO ASI currently the best in the market? (for beginners?)

    2) what is it "read noise"? and which read noise is the best -  the highest or the lowest (i saw a numbers next to the read noise and i dont know if i need to search for the lower number or the higher number)?

    thank you very much!!!

  2. 😁😁 thanks alacant!

maybe to wait that the object will move to the other part of the sky and then resume the plane is the best option! i think i will do it the next time! thanks!

and what is platesolve? and what do you mean mount extension?

and yeah, when the mount will move without the worry that it will hit the camera it will be great to be in peace of mind - flip while you slepp!

  3. i control the camera via APT and the mount via stellarium...

but the the settings of the eq6r rpo the flipping mode is on auto, but the mount didnt done the flipping!

am i doing something wrong or the software dont do their job? because its really bummer to stop the whole imaging session because the meridian flip...

  4. hello everyone

yesterday i was doing some astrophotography and it all went very good and precise but when my dslr camera was to close to the mount i wanted to do a meridian flip. i have the eq6r pro from sky watcher and in the settings i saw that the flipping mode was i auto, but the camera was to close to the mount so i switched it to force and tried to do a meridian flip (to choose the target again so that the telescope will switch tracking direction - that how we do a meridian flip? it was my first time), but the telescope didnt move to the other way (because he was allready on the target - M27, but when you choose the target again from the hand control, its need to change the direction, right?), so i tried to move it from the pc because i controlled the mount via stellarium, but its also didnt do a meridian flip... so eventually i didnt do a meridian flip and stop the session... so what i need to do????

    thank you very much!!!!!!!!!

  5. hello everyone

i have the sky watcher esprit 120 and the heq6r pro mount and im considering to buy autoguider package to my setup and wanted to aky you if this package is good? and recommended? some reviews...  ZWO 60mm ASI120MM Guide system (ZWO – ASI120MM-s) also im considering the Orion Magnificent Mini Deluxe AutoGuider Package... which is better?

    thank you very much!

  6. it is sound better that the mount will stay on (i also saw a video that the guy there use polemaster and his mount is on)

and when you say home position, what is that means? i know the the scope in home position aimed to polaris and the mount - the counterweight is facing down...

    thank you!!!

  7. hello everyone!

    a quick and maybe a weird question😅

when i do polar alignment? when the mount (i have eq6r pro) is turn on or off? if off - i do the alignment, turn on the mount, put my date and time, do the star alignment, and thats it? (this is the way i've done all my nights...) if on - what i do?😅

and also what i do if i do the polar alignment with sharp cap or with polemaster? when the mount is on or off??

    thank you very much!!!
