Good to know, but any future astro funds will be going towards a Ha solution. Since the Quark(s) when back I am missing that aspect of the hobby quite a bit. I do already have an adapter for the FS-60 to an SM60 (not sure why) so maybe that is a potential avenue to explore.
I think It could possibly ... just insert SM60 and your off plus using your regular EPs
The Quarks can be really good but they are a faff & seeing dependent plus I remain
they're really on suitable for the experienced HA astronomer after they,ve had a
few years experience with air spaced etalons.

That's a nice thought but if anything I should be going the other way and reducing the collection!
Nonsense ... I collect Coronado's 🌞
Incidentally I've been in contact with a gentleman recently who has just bought an
DSSM60III upon my recommendation however he's also about to get hold of an
FS-128 as well after many years of enquiry ... so there are still some in circulation.

14 years for me to in November , when I first joined I was much more pro UKAI
(UK Astro Imaging) if anyone remembers that forum ... but it's only really been this
year that I've woken up to SGL and have gotten to know some of the members which
is great but what a wealth of knowledge , I've always been humbled and grateful
from all the help I've received here to date 😀

OK, so I took F15's advice and said the magic words, and it only worked!!
a lovely looking 14mm Morpheus arrived 😁
On a more serious note, why does the Post lady have to deliver to the wife while I'm at work. Now I've got some explaining to do... 😁😁
The sky is clearing so I might get to try it tonight!
Nice & Dave's right ... Magic does work 👍
The morphs are sharper than tacks (that's tacks and not Taks) 😀

Thanks Mark
I'll be trying them with 10 & 15mm BFs and the supplied EPs and Barlow to begin with
but if a success I'll have to seek out a lower powered pair ect ... Will see what transpires 🙂

I'm thinking all your needing is a 128 😀
Amazing FS collection there 👍

I was gonna say that the Halloween plossl's do have a bit of a cult following
and I've not seen a 32mm before in the flesh.

We would all benefit from more reviews that are as comprehesive as that
I love this review ... must delve into it more deeply ... I’m surprised at the Tak , Nikon & Pentax results and wondering what EP would merit a 18/20 or higher result 🤔 the only EP I own from the test is the lowly Luminos but I really like it in my PSTs it’s just great fun , however when switching to SM60s I require superior optics to achieve the desired sharpness & contrast , so yes perhaps an EPs fun factor should be rated ... Luminos 4/5 😅

Many Thanks Gents 👍
For some reason I thought there was more to it than that and there may well be as I've not tried them yet ! I recall individual EP focusing ... and when I think back I had Antares & AE pairs at one point to. I reckon ill have to use the 1.6 x Barlow with them to achieve focus in my SM60s and hopefully my PSTs but I'll drop a line here later in the week fingers crossed 👌
Oh and I will be in touch Ade 😀

Hi Folks
I am going to try viewers again for solar , have tried with some success in the past (Baader MB1s) & did try the original (white bodied) WO and a Celestron angled viewer without success , I’m hoping for more success with these the more recent WO offering.
Anyway as I said it’s back to basics ... So I place the viewer into the diagonal ... insert EPs and the nosepiece Barlow ... then what is your recommended procedure.
Thanks ... Brian

I am weak, Just ordered the 14mm Morpheus from FLO 🙂🙂
I don't think you'll be disappointed ... I'm not aware of other EPs that are sharper at
this price point or vastly more for that matter 😃
I agree with all that has been said as yes indeed everyone's perceptions differ slightly
so one cannot necessarily go on another's account or recommendation , one must try
said item oneself & only really then will know if they like it or not.
Re undercuts my preference would be without but if I'm using an EP with them then
I know I'll have to tighten the BF diagonal ring a little more 👍

Yes had a good look at it today ... the magnetic disturbances surrounding it was
classic AR viewing and most evident in DS mode.

I don't own a 55 but reckon it's the best EP I've used in friends Quark
Plus I note that in an older DayStar brochure they recommend the 55 in conjunction
with their Quantum Etalon series and the allowance of 20% more illumination
would be a bonus with the adaptor.

I can think of a good use for one ... obtaining full disk with a Quark 🌞
