i woke middle of the night boiled the kettle for a cuppa and saw 1 every 40 secs or so. was quite spectacular.

Hi all

My vixen sp mount (with dual axis motors) is feeling its age. The gears are not meshing between the motor and mount.   I will be having a look myself but can anyone point me in direction of some company that can repair?  im not after super duper performance. i use it visually si stand is fine. i just want it to work and after 40 years of use it probably deserves some tlc.

I use a Everbrite 90 degree with my St80. it beats any prism hands down.  Also use a fringe killer.  Makes my St80 a great throw it in the car with a tripod when im working away from home.
