  1. What are your thoughts so far re the Orion course? Was hoping for a bit more to be honest, not too sure about the constellation dot to dot exercise!!!
  2. I've only been on here for a couple of days but am overwhelmed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the site and its members. Please keep up the superb job, it really does make a difference.
  3. Great article and thanks for sharing it. I'm happy to carry on with my trusty bins for a while yet prior to taking the plunge with a scope, for which choosing one is an education itself!
  4. Wow, many thanks for the great welcome and tips etc everyone. Very kind. Hope you all had a great Chrimbo and a happy 2015 to all. Kind regards Rob.
  5. I'm just starting out in this wonderful hobby and am looking forward to years of exploring the skies. Found this excellent forum and having taken a look, I'm amazed at how much knowledge is out there, which is excellent for someone new to the hobby, a total one stop shop for advice, which is genuinely needed and appreciated. So, from the dark skies of Norfolk, albeit cloudy at present, its good to be here. Kind regards Storeman (Rob)
