I had a 2" adapter on the front of my D3100. The 6" refractor had a Baader 8-24 eyepiece inserted, which was linked in a 2.25x barlow. I believe this gave me a 3.5mm eyepiece equivilent attached directly to the DSLR. I didn't process the image. -

6" refractor by Skywatcher and it is 1200mm long. It is mounted to a HEQ-5 SynScan. This set up shows the Battery Box, a few Eps and stool ready. Just hoping the clear sky holds out. -

It's a 4.5" reflector from Visionary and 500mm long. I bought it with an EQ2 mount which I have upgraded with a motor. -

Some tools are here also. There's a Philips screwdriver for adjusting the mirrors. A Cheshire collimator, compass and a few filters. I have an adapter to insert 1.25" EPs in a 2" shaft. Finally the EPs, PL4mm, PL12.5mm, h20mm, PL40 and 2x Barlow lense. -

I built this with parts I ordered off of eBay as per the wiring plan. It has a volt meter and ampere meter to measure what the battery is supporting. A seperate switch controls a single plug, in case I need to switch off/ on anything particular. This is how it looks when I use it. -

This is a tablle have found in order to keep an eye on the charge level. Never deplete a battery full of power or it will short circut and cannot be charged again. In short, it becomes an expensive brick. -

This shows how my Battery Box is wired. I understand it look unusual how the first fuse is colour coded, but you'll notice this is for uniformity of the actual box, not the wiring plan. Additionally I have a trickle feed charging device in order to keep the battery charged. It is a 12V/ 50Ah car battery. -
