hi luke, that sounds like bliss :) also that's one of the reasons i've gone for it, looked at many others beforehand but kept coming back to the moonlite, the standard focuser on me 150P is a bit naff have to have it relatively tight when got me Canon on it so becomes a pain in the rectum trying to get good focus... hopefully be here tomorrow or Friday just in time to fix it on at weekend...

shouldnt think its to hard to put a peir in as long ya do a proper job an not cut corners, not a huge diy'er myself, an think landlord mite have summit to say. have been thinking bout a movable but think ill give the the HEQ5 a go first prolly be lighter to move, id love a roll off roof but dont think budget will stretch to one, was prolly gunna get a nice size shed run electric to it an use that as me base

i want a peir in the garden with a small shed, misses ok'd the shed but not the pier, keeps reminding me that we rent tut.

been tempted many a time to get that from FLO but she wont have it got a 9X50 finder & 1.25" diagonal so was half way there, was also one on FLO's clearance thread for 269 for the OTA. last time I bought something substantial was my secondhand mount, but ended up costing me the same again for a new engagement ring haha,

ED80 very nice, have been wanting one but other half insist that I don't (well you cant look throu 3 scopes at once, usually do a bit of lunar imaging if shes out but only so much you can do.

will do mate, went for the orangy gold colour so be nice an bright ha, its taken a while to get the things I've needed to make a serious effort at AP now, only tried the mount for solar so far but from what i've seen its already blown my EQ3.2 out the water tracking wise. just need nights to draw in a bit more now to give her a real go.

its for my 150p, bought fixing plate to as FLO said I need it to attach it, ive decided to give AP a proper go this time as recently bought a secondhand HEQ5 so think im at a better starting point...finally.
