Hi Pat, thats a mess - hope it didnt cause any damage to anything or anyone - will you be able to fix it up again or----------------will you take this as an omen and build a reinforced concrete custom designed observatory complete with rotating roof ? :D :p :rolleyes: ;) Cheers Paul -

It sure was - brilliant clear skies - the seeing was good too. Our viewing site is excellent - a full 360deg horizon to horizon uninterrupted by anything. The highlight of the evening was seeing Tuc 47 through the 14" dob in the foreground - it was absolutely stunning - so clear and so many stars. -

We are a very small group and are members of ASSA (Astronomical Society of South Australia) - we meet monthly for discussion and hold a viewing night once per month also (open to public)
