  1. I was planning on a night out with the scope getting more hours on M51 but I just don't have the energy :sad:. I fell over a week ago and my back is still not quite right...My mount looks heavier than it used to.

  2. Researchers still don't know what the mysterious bright spots are on Ceres. I'm guessing some sort of natural crystal or mineral. What does everyone else think?

      It's Dilithium crystals. NASA needs to get into gear and build a manned asteroid probe named Enterprise!

  3. I really am sick and tired of this! Showing clear all day, go out this evening to do my first lot of imaging and it's foggy. Could quite easily sell up and go back to offroading, at least I can do that in rubbish weather.

      Yes, the weather is cruel that way. I peeked out before bed this morning at 3.30am and ended up using my binocs and Flexitube 130P for an hour as it had suddenly cleared up. Sun splitting the blue skies at lunch time, but clouded over by 3pm! Bah Humbug!
