My minimalist set comprises 24 Pan, 18.2, 7 Delites and a 2x ES Barlow giving me 24, 18.2, 12, 9, 7, 3.5

My travel scope, Orion Apex 102

Ah thats where I've been going wrong, thanks for the info I'll be sure to remember it next time?

An Orion Apex 102 Mak and an Astrozap Dewshield arrived today.

I used have a 90 Mak for grab and go and as a travel scope but sold it a few months ago and have regretted it ever since.

The apex 102 is it's replacement. I wanted to get the Skymax 102 but I have been told there are none available until October. 

The pouch hanging on the tripod contains an Hyperion 24, the diagonal is a WO erect image with helical focuser and the eyepiece is a Baader 8-24 Zoom. For mounting I'm using a Ravelli photo tripod and a TS AZ mount. The day time views are sharp and crisp and the focuser is nice and smooth. The whole setup is light enough to carry around with one hand.

Hoping for some clear skies tonight to get first light.

I've been putting together a 1.25" eyepiece set for my scopes which now consists of 24 Panoptic, 18.2 ,7 Delite, 14, 10, 6 Delos and 4 SLV. I'm very satisfied with this for the time being at least.

Here's my new travel kit : Celestron Granite 7x33 ed  fov 9.1*. Took these with me on my last trip to Cornwall instead of my WO ZS71ed ( now sold). I enjoyed it so much that this will be my travel kit from now on. Good for both nature and astro.

I'm a big fan of the 120ed thats why I didn't sell mine when I bought a Tak FC-100dc.

I use the Baader prism diagonal with focusing eyepiece holder in my FC-100dc which has a nice smooth fine focusing action and it's a lot cheaper than upgrading the focuser.

I'm also very interested in the 150ed but will wait until there are some reviews and if I can sell my 120ed first.

The fc-100dc is a keeper it's not going anywhere.

I bought the same dovetail on Piero's recommendation for my fc-100dc and it fits nicely on the Tak clamshell.

Arrived yesterday a Berlebach adapter to fit an AZ5 head to an EQ5 tripod.

Found a nice light aluminium case for my Tak on Amazon, made a bit of a mess cutting the foam though.

Theres room for another 3 delites in the case, so far I have a WO reticule finder, Tak 1.25" prism diagonal, Pan 24mm, Delite 18.2mm.

I'm thinking of getting another 3 Delites, 3mm, 7mm and one other possibly 11mm or 9mm.

Fc-100 DC waiting for first light.

Picked up my FC-100 DC from Rother Valley Optics on Friday, just waiting for the dovetail to arrive to attach it to my AZ5.

A Moonlite should be arriving on monday for my 120 ed, hope I'm not disappointed with its performance in light of some negative comments about this focuser.
