  1. Yes it is a 1,25" to 2" adapter, but both is using their rubber compression rings, so in theory, it should be dead center. I Will look into the howie glatter ones!
  2. Hi, I would really like to hear your thoughts of the images I have attached. The scope is a 10" f4 native and with my reducer it is f3,4 which i think have nothing to do with this really. The laser collimator is a 2" Hotech with crosshair and it is collimated itself. The laser dots are well aligned but as you can see on the picture taken through my chesire, it seems that the secondary is not properly aligned. According to my own thoughts, it is a rotation issue - as the reflection from the primary is well aligned in X -axis (horizontal) but not in Y-axis (vertical) How much of an impact would this have on the final results through a 3" Corr/red to a atik 460ex with a 17mm diagonal chip? /BR
  3. Thanks for your input, i will check collimation and focus.
  4. Hi, i am trying to adjust the tilt and collimation of my f3,4 10" astrograph and have taken a lot of images and the result of the stacked images is shown below. Is 1% tilt "ok"? I haven't addressed the collimation yet and the focus was a bit off (have gotten down to 3-4" fwhm. How would you interpret this result? The scope is a N-AG10 with TSNTRED 0.85x 3" corrector/reducer and a atik460 with sx filter wheel
  5. You can watch them without having Facebook It is an open page. well, I have the same filosophy, if it works - don’t change anything
  6. If you want to check my images, you can visit my FB-page at www.facebook.com/exophotograph /Daniel
  7. Ok. i am not logging, but at 550mm i have spot on stars, in the servo tune log i have under 0,3 Arc seconds tracking
  8. Hmm, my guidning is spot on in 90-95% of all my subs. are you running both Autoslew and Seq in admin mode? i have used them quite a while now without hickups. i am running win 10
  9. Are you running the mount with Autoslew and guidning with PHD? i have loves my DDM in three years time, i have not been guidning though, just MLPT.
  10. Hi, I have som problems with Maxim DL v5 and my ATIK 460ex mono camera on a win10 pro machine. I can use the camera with artemis capture and it works fine, so it seems not to be a driver/hardware issue. The problem is that maxim gets stuck in "downloading" as seen in the attatched picture. I have tried different drivers, re-installed maxim and installed as admin etc. Here is the log from maxim; 04:38:09*2 ____________ 2019-06-04 ____________ 04:38:09*1 MaxIm DL Version 5.08 started on DESKTOP-4K6EKP2 04:38:11>6 View, Camera Control Window 04:38:42$3 Connected to camera 1 "ASCOM" (CCDPlugASCOM.dll) 04:38:42$3 Connected to filter wheel 1 "SX Wheel" (CCDPlugSXFW.dll) 04:39:09*4 Started 1.000s 1374x1099 exposure, binned 2x2, ROI (0, 0) 04:39:10*4 Completed 1.000s 1374x1099 exposure, binned 2x2, ROI (0, 0) 04:39:20-6 Command ID 33006: Image1 04:39:20>6 Command ID 33006 (OK) 04:39:20-6 Command ID 33006: Image1 04:39:20#6 Command ID 33006 cancelled 04:39:30-6 Command ID 33006: Image1 04:39:30#6 Command ID 33006 cancelled 04:40:53>6 View, Zoom Out: Image1 04:40:54>6 View, Zoom In: Image1 04:41:10$3 Disconnected from filter wheel 1 "SX Wheel" 04:41:11$3 Disconnected from camera 1 "ASCOM" 13:49:35*1 MaxIm DL Version 5.08 exited Anyone dare to guess what the problem is? /Daniel
  11. Wow, you really have put some nice work on evolving the sensor, will this program work without the ethernet shield? I have now run mine the whole winter without any glitch, see the attached logfile. The graphs you have made looks neat! /Daniel
  12. Hi, i was wondering if the lodestar X2 will be able to put out approx. 10fps to be working as a meteor camera or is there any limitations in the read out time on this one? Maybe someone has tried this already? Will a 1/3" 180 degree CS mount lens work with the camera? /Daniel
  13. So, i think it´s time for some "long-time" feedback. It´s running 24/7 and have done so for almost a month now, without a glitch, at all. There has been almost flood-like conditions in Sweden during September with almost 30-40mm of rain some days, and the sensor keeps on going. The values seems very consistent and reliable, it reports back to the Sequence program as it should and it seems to be all good, there is some question marks left though; The rain sensor (cheap china sensor) looks like it corrodes, I assume I have to just look and see how long it lasts. Maybe someone have a picture of a AAG or similar to compare with? The setup dialog box Indicates "Overcast or fog" under the Cloud Sensor settings, even though it is clear weather, it doesn't really matter but is a nice feature. After have been watching the setup dialog box then and now for nearly a month, i clearly see why the other makers have a program to look over the parameters etc. when i close down the setup dialog box and hit ok, the driver runs flawless, but i simply have to rely on the hardware to work as it should. To sum it up - /Daniel
  14. It sure is possible, but i think they are expensive :-/
  15. No dew detected so far, the heater pad inside looks like it keeping it away :-) And during the Swedish fall, there is a lot of dew. /Daniel
  16. When i was debugging ( not the way to go with the firmware though) i was simply uploading a IDE for each sensor, testing them one by one. My Cloud and Rain sensor are now working wonderful again, even under a thunderstorm and heavy rain for about 4-5hrs.
  17. Ok, looks fine, but if the db18b20 is connected to 5v, is the mlx90614 as well? Can't really see that good on the picture :-/ or is the 3v connected the same time as the 5v?
  18. Hmm... Try to run the db18b20 witout parasite mode... Just vcc, gns and d10 (+resistor) nothing else. The mlx is not the same as mine, but it should act the same...
  19. I hardly believe the code is the problem... if you use the latest code on hdutton's github, it should work. What kind of hardware do you use? Maybe you have the links to the supplier? Your cloud and rain sensor behaves exactly as mine, when there was i wire connected wrong, or some sensor not responded etc. Can you take a picture of your hardware? I actually got mine working again, even though it was totally drenched in water. i have now sealed the box even more (wish me luck) and it is up and running again
  20. My rain sensor has been running outside without a single hickup*, the rain sensor threshold was adjusted to 99% dry and 98% wet. I think this has to do with the larger contact-stripes on this model vs the "retail" sensors out there. The driver setup dialog always "indicates" "overcast or fog" - even when there is clear sky. So, it has been working very good, the last test is on a actual image run - with the "safety monitor" activated. * The only hickup was when it good flooded and died ... again Sealing is IMPORTANT.... the cloud sensor is in the oven for 60 min @50 degrees celsius, or when it´s golden brown Hope it's still alive The DIY heaven is amazing some times. Over and out
  21. Just try and change the SDA and SCL, it doesn't damage anything and takes a second... And you have the 3V and ground connected right i assume. /Daniel
  22. Yes thats correct, ground, 5v and d10, with 4,7kohm between d10 and 5v. You can try each sensor individual with some code snatch from the internet as well, i did that yesterday, thats how i found my MLX was connected the wrong way.
  23. Is everything connected as it should? Even the SDA and SCL on the MLX? I wrote a new read me which should be correct.
  24. Do you have the command.ino file in the same folder as the cloudsensorevoplus.ino? When you compile the code and upload it to the arduino, you should see a tab in the arduino program with the command.ino code as well.
  25. And here is the updated read me. Cloud Sensor Evo Plus.doc
