The Lacerta 1:10 Dual Speed focuser upgrade arrived today. It's going to be interesting to install and try it out.

Clear sky without a cloud in sight. First light when I get home from work in a couple of hours.

Hoping for first light with the dob tonight. Clouds are slowly moving away.

Picked up two LARGE boxes today. Yay! Unfortunately I'm stuck at work so unboxing/assembly have to be a morning project.

Please, please, let my new scope arrive tomorrow! Although the weather forecast doesn't look good for a first light in a while.

Weather forecast has improved slightly for the upcoming night. Perhaps a chance to enjoy the Perseids after all.

Camera on tripod last night, 342 exposures before the cloud came. No Perseids on frame....

Weather forecas for Perseids maximum looks rubbish. I'll go out tonight instead in a desperate attempt to photograph some.

Nothing but clouds and rain, lots of rain since mid August. Getting slightly frustrated!
