  4. The Lacerta 1:10 Dual Speed focuser upgrade arrived today. It's going to be interesting to install and try it out.

  8. Got a 38mm PanaView today to try before I buy. It's almost ridiculously huge!

  11. Clear sky without a cloud in sight. First light when I get home from work in a couple of hours.

      Scope is outside to cool down. Still not a cloud in sight. Looking good.

  16. Picked up two LARGE boxes today. Yay! Unfortunately I'm stuck at work so unboxing/assembly have to be a morning project.

  17. Please, please, let my new scope arrive tomorrow! Although the weather forecast doesn't look good for a first light in a while.

  19. Weather forecast has improved slightly for the upcoming night. Perhaps a chance to enjoy the Perseids after all.

      it's looking alright here in Scotland .. some cloud cover but there will be a break in clouds long enough to see some of it .. I hope

  20. Camera on tripod last night, 342 exposures before the cloud came. No Perseids on frame....

      Depending on the severity of the disease bills can be lower. Ocularitis can be a worse condition. Eyepieces are small, they can go anywhere and therefore attack the immune system :D

  23. The sky is finally clear. Hope it stays that way all night.

  24. Clear blue sky at last. Tonight's weather forecast looks very promising as well. Scope time I hope!

      there's been about 4or5 clear nights here in the last two weeks but havent bothered because of that darn moon. lol
