  17. the 130p isnot very good for imaging the mount is not the right type of mount for dso imaging but u could get a few shots of the moon with a webcam, the 130p is not great for planets ether not enought focal length. it is not bad for looking at dso i have the 130p goto and have seen a a good few dso but i new within a week i wanted a new scope
  18. hi guy another option the bresser 10x50s are a real bargin you can pick them up for about £30 they use the same pisms and glass as alot of more expensive makes i have compared them with some meade and celestrom and they seem to give the same performance if you keep an eye out they come up in aldi and lidle for about £15
  19. when i was looking at bins i was told to look for a pair of 10x50 with poro prisms and bak7 glass 10x50 are easyer than the 15x70 to handle without to much shaking i managed to pick up a pair of bresser 10x50s for £11 from the local aldi they dont come around much, they are exactly the same as the meade 10x50s but much cheaper hope this helps
  20. The slt is a good scope for planatry viewing/imaging because of the long focal length it has were the dob would be great for viewing hope this helps.
