  1. What is the best way to edit an image? Like how do I get the most amount of detail out of it? I know to sharpen it and to turn up the contrast and pop, but is there something I'm missing? Like stacking images and removing backgrounds? I'm quite an amateur here...😁😁
  2. Hey I think they just launched something like an electron rocket!!!
  3. I just saw it was scrubbed... Again. You would think they would build whatever is leaking better than this, wouldn't you?
  4. Thanks, I'll try this! Looks like exactly the same problem I've got. Let's hope I don't mess up. But after all--the eyepiece was off already, so what could possibly go wrong? 😁😁
  5. No, I mean the actual eyepiece has come off 😭. Don't mind the timestamp, it's wrong.
  6. I have a pair of Avantek 10x50 binoculars, but one of the lenses has come off of the roller :(. They still work, if I can align it right, which I usually can (phew). What worries me is that they can see the andromeda galaxy better than the telescope I've got. 😅 I wonder if tonight I might see this: 👽
  7. Thanks! The scope I have is a 750x60mm, maksutov-cassegrain. The mount is hand adjusted, not computerized. Here's a rather silly question: how do you reply directly to a comment? I can't seem to find a button for it.
  8. Hm. Secret whispers? That would surely speed things up, because we're all about the competition. 😁
  9. Ah well. I was rather looking forward to watching it launch. Anybody got more info on it other than it's got an engine leak? Or has NASA said only that?
  10. I really like Astrophotography, but cellphones aren't really good for taking pictures except of the moon. I was wondering what is the best camera for under $200? If you can get something good for such a low price 😅. Also, what is the best app for editing pictures to their best?
  11. Oops, I forgot to insert the moon pictures. This one's rather heavily edited to bring out the craters and mountains. Hmmm....I didn't realize they would be so big. Are they any good? Hey Peter, I just clicked on the link you put out. Are those your pictures? I mean...WOW.
  12. Hello everybody, here is an amateur astronomer called Leo. I only recently became interested in astronomy, and I hope to achieve the level of experienced old sage😀. I think my favorite topic of astronomy is Astrophotography, and the best pictures I have gotten so far with my 750x60mm Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope are some moon pictures. I've seen Jupiter, Saturn, and the Andromeda galaxy, and I look forward to being here.
