If you don't mind, when you say composite, is that a mosaic, or a stack? Were you tracking and was the Canon in prime focus, on a barlow, or projected?

Thanks Martyn. The camera was mounted on a tube with an eyepiece inside and then focused in Live-view. This gives a very limited field of view and so the end result is a mosaic of approximately 40 images.

As I understand it, is that what is called "eyepiece projection"? Were you tracking? Certainly worked well. Must have been a labour to mosaic 40 shots too :icon_salut: Congrats again.
